I’m an interior designer based in Melbourne, Australia and the founder of Neon Flux Interior Design, a flexible online design studio helping homeowners and renovators across Australia create spaces that truly feel like home. Why I started Neon Flux Interior Design

After more than a decade helping homeowners and renovators bring their vision to life, I saw the same thing over and over: people trying to make big design decisions without the guidance they actually needed.

So I built Neon Flux Interior Design to fill that gap, offering in-person and virtual interior design services that are approachable, affordable and genuinely useful. No belittling, no hidden agendas, just expert advice that makes your space work better for you.

Meet your designer

I’m Sara, an Australian interior designer who believes design should feel human, helpful and hands-on. My goal is to help you feel confident in your space, whether that means reviewing your renovation plans, choosing finishes or giving your layout a practical refresh.

Everything I do is designed to reduce guesswork and give you the clarity to move forward, no matter your budget, location or project size.

How it works

Every project follows the same clear process. Pick In-Person (Melbourne) or Virtual (anywhere in Australia) to see what working together looks like, step by step.
EnquiryComplete the Service Fit Form with your goals, plans and timeline. I’ll reply with my project recommendation, next steps and a quote.
PrepYou’ll send any plans, basic measurements and photos (don’t worry, I’ll give you all the info I need!). You’ll receive a booking link for Google Meet.
Kick-offGoogle Meet meeting. We review your brief, look at photos/plans and align on priorities.
DesignI develop concepts, finishes and documentation based on your materials and measurements.
ReviewWe review your pack on Meet. Depending on the service, one or two consolidated rounds of revisions is included.
DeliveryYou receive a PDF pack (plans/elevations + finishes & fittings schedule with supplier links and current pricing). Hand it straight to your builder.
Post projectOptional add-ons: physical swatch pack (posted); extra revisions; additional rooms.
